La Familia Medical Center is rolling out our new logo and name!
Jay introduced the new name and logo officially at the Gala and we are moving forward with its implementation. I wanted to give everyone some background on the “why” and how of the process.

La Familia Health reflects our focus on serving the community through a broad spectrum of services, including traditional healthcare as well as dental, behavioral, health education and more.

Process:
Cisneros Design met with a cross section of our staff to get feedback about our patients, services and values. They came back with concepts that were reviewed by other staff and leadership. Finally, Fred Cisneros presented two concepts to the Board of Directors.
Trademark:
Part of the delay in rolling out the logo has been the trademark process. We have applied for copyright protection of the name and logo for La Familia Health. (Thank you Cece!)
Official name Our official legal name will remain La Familia Medical Center d/b/a La Familia Health.
Brand Guidelines
As with all brands – consistency in font, color and usage is important. Please follow these simple guidelines (AP Style) as we finish the implementation with Cisneros.
Logo:Horizontal use
Font: Readability is important in typography. ALL Font, unless incorporated into a design, must be BLACK. This includes email signatures. (Color text is difficult to read especially in digital format. Best practice is to avoid purple, red, light green or yellow. Blue text indicates an email address, website or other link.)

Printed Items – Please use Times New Roman

Promotional Product: We have received the magnets with the new logo to be given out to patients. Thank you Christine! We will get them out this week to hand out to patients.
We are in the process of ordering totebags, grocery bags and pens plus other items through Allegra. They should be delivered over the next few weeks.
