Anybody else? Unfortunately, I can’t help with that, but over the next month we are going to take a deep-dive into a lifestyle medicine/ self-care basic: SLEEP. When we don’t get enough sleep, we have increased cortisol levels that trigger cravings for carbohydrates – suddenly those cookies from Clafoutis that keep showing up in the break room are completely unavoidable (But seriously, thank you Clafoutis!). And that’s just one example. So, over the next four weeks Operation Oxygen Mask will be bringing you ideas and tips to make sure you get rest that you deserve and need.
